Thanks.  The right click seems the best option.  I have a good camera Kodak EasyShare CD93 or so I think it is a good camera.  I am not sure if her web cam is too old.  Most of the time the picture blurrs as she moves and sometimes seems a little blocky as I am sure the resolution is very small.  I will try the right click method.  I really didn't think of it so thanks Dave.

I have not used it on a web cam session. I have not had a web cam session with anybody. I had a chat with a very nice lady and she sent me a still photo of herself. I have always used the right click method to save photos. I used to have a program called "Freeze Frame". Worked great to capture almost anything that came up on the screen. I wonder what happened to the program.

are you using qq for chatting?  You can save pictures from qq (but they're small), but they're guaranteed to be better quality than taking a photograph of your monitor.  Under her picture there are a few buttons, one will let you save a picture.

Another option in QQ would be to open it in full screen, and use the screen capture button.  You can highlight the area you want to capture.  I haven't tried this personally...at least not to try and save a picture, but I can't see why it wouldn't work.

Well guys I sent my lady some money to help with her mother's medical bills. Instead she spent the money on a new outfit and a handbag made out of old  ZuZu hamsters!!!

Well how was I to know that her mother had medical insurance lol.
