          I hired immigration lawyers in November of 2008, after many months of paper work my application was sent to the Canadian Embassy in Beijing. We have received notice for the interview date shortly after. I do not remember the exact date they received my application, I will have to look at past e-mails and letters. I think the Embassy received my application in late May,early June. I am a little worried, I was told the Beijing office is really hard on the ladies during the interview process. I have a friend who's Chinese wife was refused, he appealed the decision and won! his wife will now get her visa to come to Canada.

I heard the opposite. The Hong Kong office is much harsher. A Toronto  immigration lawyer said the success rate in South China is 2 / 30. The fact that you got an interview so fast is a good sign. Most HK applicants are waiting 6 months till they get an application response, never mind an interview appointment.

I like this one, because she had a whole series of pictures that showed a lot of energy, and playfulness, and it made me smile to think ...
 Wow this is a woman who has a great spirit, a love of life, and real joy inside her that just seems to shine. It really drew me to her over others who seemed so serious, and with no spark at all. It has been a year since she sent to me this picture, and I now know this is her personality, she is not shy, and has a lot of spark that I really love!
