Sly,

Where did you get the idea i slept in a flower bed??? I've slept in a bed with flowers printed on the sheets and pillow cases, ....but that's as close to a flower bed I've slept in!!!!!

Maybe Willy has found  himself in a flower bed, ....the morning after the night before, wondering how the hell he got there!! ...hahaha!! But i honestly can't say that i have. ...lol!!

I sent Nina some white lilies from Chnlove a long time ago, and then I read somewhere that white can have negative meanings.  I asked her about it and she replied that it depends on the flower.  Lilies were fine and she loved them.  In my mind white lilies were perfect at the time because we were just getting to know each other.  Sylvain, if you love her, you can't go wrong with red roses.  There's only one meaning behind them and nobody's going to think you mean something different with a red rose.
...as irresistible as chocolate

White Lilies in the Western World= death and funerals
In China...not so...OK to send and are highly regarded.

Roses are International !!...Red Rose....love and affection

Blue rose (they are dyed by the way)= extravagance ...designed to impress

Carnations=cheapskate :icon_cheesygrin::icon_cheesygrin::icon_cheesygrin:

David,

That you can remember, that is. :icon_cheesygrin:

Remember that night, it seems like 100 years ago now, when you at an old familiar pub and you started out with a pint of Guinness with a whiskey chaser?  Well.....

Shaun,

Nope not me mate, I really don't drink, or should i say, i have never drank enough to get pissed. ....Except on two occasions both in my earlyish teens, one at a friends house accross the road from mine, ...wine tasting his dad's home made wine, and another at my sisters wedding (in my house) ...lol!!  Both occasions i made it to my own bed, and not the Flower bed!!  haha!!

You must have another friend named David, maybe an old drinking buddy of yours?? ...lol!!

David,

Unfortunately one of my old pastimes was drinking heavily.  But I quit about 20 years ago.  I might have an occasional taste every once in a while.  I worked in an office in Texas while I was in the oil business and there were more Brits than Americans in the office.  I am amazed we could find oil because we spent more time in bars than in the office, more time drunk than sober.  Those weren't the days my friend.  I would be the one that may have spent a night or two in the flower bed. :-/:blush:

However, that doesn't really help to find the meaning :s

A bit some more news about my story with Liyan.
I am talking with her since July, 2009 so it's quite recent, but... it seems that it is as if I would know her since more than just 3 months.
Everytime we are always happy to talk together on QQ and it's same when we were together in GZ ... since we're engaged, even if we need to take some time to think more about wedding and so on (because it's not just as if man could say "hello" to anyone in the street, then, leaving...), we need to know more and more about each other. But I don't care about it :) Because that's what I want, so does Liyan ^^'
Even this morning, she sent me a sweet message just to wish me a nice day and that she will see me tonight on QQ ^^

When I was with her, before leaving, I offered her one ring I always wear on my fingers (Arnold could remember, I think, that I have some on me :D) and Liyan was very "shy" at first, but really liked it. She told me that I could keep it, too, but as I said, "it's a gift, and I'm very happy if you like it and can have it on your finger). So, everytime we are on QQ, she shows me that she's got the ring on her finger, but.. it's not the righteous one, in fact :)

By the way, here are a few pictures about her & me :)
Hope you'll enjoy :)
